About John
Biography
John opened The Law Offices of John A. Conniff in 2015 after previously practicing family law at another elite family law litigation firm in Chicago. John graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law.
Prior to pursuing family law, John completed a judicial clerkship for the Honorable Paul P. Biebel, Former Presiding Chief Judge of the Cook County Criminal Division.
Prior to becoming an attorney, John served as a law clerk, during which he acquired a wealth of knowledge on the many facets comprising the practice of family law. During this time John also cultivated a deep appreciation for the value of alternative dispute resolution and mediation in divorce proceedings.
John is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and is currenlty the President of the Michigan State University College of Law Alumni Association Chicago Chapter.

Excellent, well prepared, efficient and caring.
We hired him as my niece diverse attorney. He explained very well above the process. Even though it took a while, everything went very smooth. If you can afford him, I definitely recommend him. The best about him is he communicate with you promptly text, email and telephone also.
