Biography
Heather R. Liberman is an associate at Leavens, Strand & Glover, LLC where she represents transactional and litigation clients in the areas of copyright, trademark and entertainment law. Heather has cleared rights for music, television, and film. Heather also represents start-up clients and assists with establishing legal entities and preparing other initiating documents. Heather is the immediate past Chair of the Chicago Bar Association Media & Entertainment Committee, worked on the ABA publication, "Music Law for the General Practitioner", teaches entertainment law at DePaul University College of Law, and is the Co-Chair of the Copyright Society of the USA Midwest Chapter. Heather enjoys lecturing on issues related to art and copyright at area universities and organizations. Heather is a member of the Lawyers for the Creative Arts and Links Hall Associate Boards.
Heather is a classically trained ballet and modern concert dancer and danced with multiple modern dance companies in New York City.
