Very helpful and clear

Deb was very clear, responsive and helpful. I found her to be logical and quick to respond. She walked me through the legal process I was going through and made it easier even though it was a difficult time. Highly recommend!

Review

Deb was retained after my attorney called me and said he needed assistance on my case after a year into the litigation. The assistance turned into co-counsil. We were getting closer to trial date and it needed more attention. Deb was knowledgable and organized. However, petition after petitions wer...e filed after numerous orders were not followed by my ex husband and his high profile attorney dictated the tone of the finality of the case and the lack of his discovery that was accepted After numerous requests I unable to get back into the marital residence for my belongings since we were displaced almost 3 years ago, shut out my 410k without access to trade within, and alI marital assets were in my ex's control, except the car I left with. Yes there were points of minimal relief, however my credit suffered and I was rationed back some money to pay my bills two months before the divorce was final, I followed every order, request for information, discovery requests ,court date and meetings with the GAL. It took over 2 years to get a parenting plan in place, there was never an urgency for the wellbeing of my son , after this was expressed to exhaustion. I expressed my concerns about the final settlement and parenting plan, in my opinion they were taken lighly, It was the "best I was going to do" "that's a reasonable amount of time for them to propose given the circumstances of your case" after expressing my concerns , I was left playing go fetch with my settlement and discovering now the aftermath of the tax ramifications of that. There were many instances I felt I was not in control of the outcome after serious expression to the team. In my opinion, your lawyer should have an overall plan for your case not a wait and see approach. If there is any component of mental and financial abuse in your relationship with your ex, they should also be verse in representing that type of client. Not allowing the opposing counsil to speak slander about their client as they wait for the prove up- Not high fiving a junior associate of the opposing firm moments before the prove up. I understand there is a non emotional component of the representation, but there should be a highly regarded component of fiduciary responsibility that should be addressed not disregarded after expressing that on more than one occasion.
