Ken Wang

I am a college student with bright horizons. Long story short, I got myself into a little mess when I was caught underage at a bar using someone else's ID. I needed to get this expunged off my record because I am applying to graduate school, and I did not need anything holding me back. I hired Ken from the internet with no prior recommendation or prior experience with him. I had a misdemeanor speeding ticket. Ken was able to get this reduced to a regular speeding ticket with a medium fine. Ken is a straight shooter and clear communicator. Ken was the first lawyer I've ever had to hire in my life, and it was great that he made it so easy for me. I had an Aggravated Speeding charge, in addition to a Scott's Law charge (bad night), and I was really worried that I'd get maximum fines that I couldn't afford, possible suspended license..., or realistically, have a misdemeanor charge put on my record that would follow me around. Ken put me at ease pretty much right away on the consolation call, and then made me feel better when we had a more in-depth meeting face-to-face before the court date. Then when my time came to go to the court house (which I'd never been to before), Ken also made everything very easy for me, because that place was insane. I didn't even have to talk to the judge! Ken did pretty much all of the work without me doing anything, and that was pretty awesome. That's not to say that's how it will be with everybody, but for me personally, it felt like all I had to do was hire Ken and I knew I was in good hands. I appreciate that because I'm kind of a mush-mouth, and probably would have screwed it up if I had to defend myself. He was able to bring my two charges down to one petty speeding ticket, and the other will go away with court supervision. I still had to pay a decent amount in fines, but that's better than any of the other alternatives. Ken did great! He was very knowledgeable of everything I did right away, from the moment I called him out of nowhere for a consultation. He knew the answer to pretty much every question I had, which was nice. I would definitely recommend Ken for any traffic related offenses you might get charged with. I hope I never *have* to hire him again (I'll drive slower), but if I find myself in another jam, I'll more than likely be calling Ken. Oh yeah, also he's a really nice guy and is easy to talk to. That goes a long way, especially compared to some of the other lawyers I observed in the court house when I was there.

I highly recommend Ken. I was charged with a Naperville ordinance violation and wanted a lawyer because I was worried about having a criminal record, and what that would mean for future job searches. I chose Ken after talking to several local (Naperville) lawyers. In contrast to the other law...yers I talked to, Ken did not try to scare me about going to court without a lawyer, he patiently and clearly explained the legal issues and the possible outcomes of my case, and he has a very reasonable and fixed fee. My court date was a few weeks after our initial consultation, and during the entire period Ken was professional, responsive, and pleasant. We met in person and also exchanged email. His responses to my email were always quick and thorough. Ken told me exactly what I needed to do in preparation for court, where to meet, what to wear, etc. Ken was there nice and early on my day in court, and took the time to walk me through what would happen. We got the best outcome I had hoped for, which was dismissal of the case pending a fine and some community service. Having never been to court, and seeing what happened there, I was glad I'd hired Ken. I will be using Ken in future for any legal needs of my family.
