John J. Chitkowski

Went to Chitkowski law when case was almost ready for Motion of Summary Judgement. From day 1, I had directed them to move for Motion of Summary Judgement as the judge had suggested to me. Chitkowski law offices had everything they needed to a motion for summary judgement minus a couple affidavits... (1 to 2 hours of work). Instead of moving for motion of summary judgement, they performed work completely against my direction including supplemental discovery requests I did not want and I did not need and I told them was Not necessary. They insisted the steps they were taking had to be done. I even told them I did not care I would take my chances to even lose in court to move for motion of summary judgement. I repeatedly brought to their attention overbilling. I was told they would investigate. That investigation I was promised several times, never happened. When I told Jason I wanted to go to the next court appearance as the time he was billing, I believed was grossly inflated. He refused to give me when the next court appearance was. I had to contact owner which was my third request to get date. By that next court date both their company and myself decided not to proceed forward with each other. They billed me for internal memo's they do within their firm. When I asked to see the memo's I was being billed so many hours on, they said they are internal and I can not see them. For two years prior, I spent less than $6400 with my previous attorney. With Chitkowski law offices, I was billed over $15,700 all within 7 months. I kept asking even begging, what else do we need to do motion of summary judgement, they refused to answer specifically. I only received lawyer double talk. Now I am with a new attorney. I was told Chitkowski law offices (I dealt with Jason Loebach) did nothing but charge me for useless internal memo's. My new lawyer was able to do an appearance in court to be my new lawyer. The very next court date he submitted the Motion of Summary Judgement with All information from my Attorney prior to Chitkowski. No information was used or needed for Motion of Summary Judgement came from Chitkowski Law offices. All the time and money spent with Jason Loebach from Chitkowski Law offices was a waste and not needed. From day one, I directed them to move for Motion of Summary Judgement they did everything to run up the bill and to never move the case forward. I actually went backwards with them. All they do is give lawyer circle talk and do everything they can to keep your bill high without moving your case forward. I thought all lawyers stick together but I was even told the authority where I could report them. If I could give less than 1 star I would. What was done to me should Not be done to anyone else.
