Eva Tameling was my second attorney that I used during my custody battle for my 14 yr. old daughter. I am certain, that, if I had Eva from the beginning, things would have turned out in my favor. However, my first attorney convinced me that I needed to enter an Agreed Order in this matter, unless I ...could pay him the balance that I owed him (6,500.00) and give him a retainer of $10,000.00-$15,000.00. I felt backed into a corner with no other options. Previously, this first attorney was not returning my calls, emails,or text messages. I was trying to get counsel from him for weeks before my case came up for a status hearing. He kept telling me that I needed to hammer out an Agreed Order with my ex-husband(whom I couldn't come to any agreement with him). If you want to be overbilled and not know what is going on with your attorney, I have the person for you - Eva Tameling. She bills in 15 minute increments, even if you are only on the phone with her for 2 minutes. Oh, wait, talk to her twice in 15 minutes? Yes, get hit for 2 discussions. How about an... attorney who says you need to stress your visitation rights and advises you to call the police; then stops returning your calls after the police threaten to arrest you for criminal trespass when you are waiting peacefully in your ex's drive way to pick up your kids? I spent over $40,000 on my divorce then had to go back to court a couple years later and was whacked with another $20,000 bill after she know I was near bankruptcy anyway. How can you trust anyone who schedules a trial date, then 3 weeks before asks the court to change the date because she is going to be on vacation? I could go on and on, but you I think you get the idea. Oh, and I am sure this won't get posted because it is too "defamatory"; and yes I read the agreement, and have documentation to back it up!
