Andre P. Gaston

Mr. Andre’ Gaston graduated from the University of North Carolina @ Chapel Hill with distinction majoring in Political Science.  He completed his legal education graduating from Indiana University School of Law.   Prior to his entering law school, Andre’ was featured on a local Minneapolis, MN news channel as one of the bright, up and coming law students.  During his time at IU, Andre’ became one of the most accomplished Moot Court litigants in the school’s 100 year history.  Andre’ was named the Christopher Maine Advocacy Award winner, a top two overall advocate among Barristers and was on the winning team.  His 3rd year, he was named Friend of the Court’s  Most Outstanding Barrister.

Andre’s legal experience began as he worked as a summer Associate at Hoeppner, Wagner and Evans, Northwest Indiana’s largest firm.  He continued his legal experience as a Summer Associate and Clerk at Cohen and Malad, LLP working on various cases that included complex litigation, multi-jurisdictional litigation, class action litigation, personal injury and international tort claims.

He began his legal practice working as a Corporate Attorney representing clients such as Sears and K-Mart in Chicago and subsequently passed the rigorous Illinois Bar Exam.   His schooling included Constitutional Law as well as Civil Rights, Discrimination in Housing and International Law.

While working as an Attorney, Andre’s caseload included all types of contract matters ranging from contract negotiations to revisions of existing contracts.  Andre’s experience includes drafting complex motions ranging from personal injury complaints, international personal injury lawsuits, motions for evidentiary hearings and insurance defense claims.  Andre earned a reputation as a hard and effective worker and garnered praise from other Attorneys and Partners for his tremendous work ethic and as a thorough practitioner.

Since leaving Chicago and relocating to the Carolinas, Andre’ founded and served as COO and General Counsel of Carolina Health and Day Services, LLC.  Andre’ successfully prepared and argued motions before the Office of Administrative Hearings as well as negotiated favorable decisions before the court in protecting the interests of developmentally disabled individuals.

With Andre’s corporate  law experience he is able to distinguish himself as a highly skilled advocate, understanding the perspectives of both  attorneys and clients.  Andre has developed a solid reputation with Attorneys around the country and continues to consult with businesses from coast to coast on various matters.  Andre’ is an active member of the North Carolina Bar Association, the Illinois Bar, and member of both of Cook County and Chicago Bar Association.
