Van Larson and his partnertook my $1000 deposit in 1990. After a half hour consultation I gave them a $1000 retainer, only to be informed the next day they were dropping me as a client. No explanation except they didn't want to go against my wife's attorney. When I asked for a refund, too late. Th...ey had already spent the money reading my files. I didn't have any files at that point. It was the day after I was served. So I am still mad about them keeping my $1000.
