Biography
Kevin Gilbert Drendel is the managing shareholder in Drendel & Jansons Law Group. Kevin graduated cum laude from Cornell College in 1982 and from Northern Illinois University Law School magna cum laude in 1991, graduating second in his class. While at Northern Illinois University, he was a member of the Law Review, was published in the University’s scholarly journal, and received the West Publishing Award for Outstanding Scholastic Achievement. Kevin Drendel is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and is a past President of the Kane County Bar Association. Kevin Drendel’s practice emphasizes estate planning and administration, lending law, corporate law, commercial and business law, employment law, commercial and residential real estate, civil litigation, municipal law and school law.

I hired Kevin to set up a estate plan and will for my wife and myself. He counseled me the different procedures in doing so .
I hired Kevin to set up an estate plan and a will for my wife and myself. He did a good job of explaining the various ways we could go. He helped me set up a trust placing all of our assets in the trust as to avoid the probate process. I was very satisfied with the help We received from him.

The trial court ruled in the club's favor on the main issues; the appellate court upheld the trial court ruling on the main issues and reversed in favor of the club on tangental issues.
In re R.M.F., 275 Ill.App.3d 43 (2d D 1995)
The trial court and appellate court held that the IMDMA applies but ruled in favor of the mother to remove the child; the Appellate reversed the the determination that the IMDMA applies to paternity cases and ruled completely in favor of the mother.
