Sharonda Danyielle Roberson

Sharonda Roberson is the founding Partner of Roberson Law, LLC. She began her career by interning at the Public Defender’s Office in Kane County. She has also worked for nonprofit organizations such as Prairie State Legal Services and Legal Ease Law Clinic. Her current primary focus is family, divorce, probate and estate planning. She services individuals in Kane, Cook, DuPage, Kendall, Will, Winnebago and Boone county.

Sharonda grew up in Kane county for the majority of her adolescent and adult life. While interning at the Kane County Public Defender’s Office she was able to help people that she grew up with in her community. Helping people she knew was the most rewarding feeling, and fueled her love for law.

Sharonda attended Northern Illinois University College of Law. While attending Law School she served as the President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, was a 1L Coordinator for the Juvenile Interest Law Society, and became a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. Phi Alpha Delta Law fraternity is the largest professional law fraternity in the United States. This fraternity has had seven U.S. Presidents, eight Supreme Court Justices, and one U.S. Vice President. Sharonda is currently the Assistant District Justice, for the West Suburban Alumni Chapter of the law fraternity.

Sharonda is also a community activist and one of the founders of The People’s Coalition. The People’s Coalition is an organization founded to fight the causes and struggles of Black and Brown individuals of Aurora, IL. This organization was born in the wake of the murder of George Floyd in 2020. Sharonda also is the creator of the Aurora demand letter that received over 2,000 signatures, and was sent to Aurora officials. As a result of her demand letter the City of Aurora is in the process of obtaining body cameras for police officers, and a civilian review board is being established.

Sharonda became an Attorney to help people during the worst times of their lives. She is extremely passionate about her work, and advocates for her clients until their goals are reached.
