James Anthony Podgorny

This guy doesn’t even deserve a speck of a star saying he did a good job because that would be a lie. He did absolutly nothing but take my money and tell me not to worry about a thing . I tried to reach out to him numerous times and he very rarely got back with me . I drove all the way to Chicago fro...m the southern tip of Illinois in hopes he could set aside ten minutes of his time to have a sit down conversation with me and he couldnt even do that . He was my lawyer that did nothing but go to court and get three continuances for our case and stood by my side for one court hearing in the beginning other than that NOTHING. I wasn’t about to put out any more money so he withdrew from being my lawyer . The first month I had this new lawyer I got more done than the entire 10 months he was with us. Maybe he is a descent human being outside of work but he is one of the absolute worst lawyers I’ve had the pleasure of meeting . If you want a lawyer that is actually compassionate about his work and truly cares for his clients then you should definitely look elsewhere.

Jim is a bulldog. I was surprised by my ex with false allegations, the misuse of the Order of Protection process. I am out of state and ended up choosing Mr. Podgorny. Thank goodness I did too. He first called me the evening I contacted him. Heworks late to keep up to date. And he works hard. He unde...rstood my problem and responded to all my emails and concerns. The outcome was excellent, better than I could have expected. He was the right attorney for the job. He helped me through a traumatic event, was 100% on my side, and I believe he cared for me man to man as well. Thank you, Jim. I will ever be in your debt.

This case started a while back w/ a different Lawyer. I was treated like a horrible father by my now ex, ex’s lawyer, the judge, and even my own lawyer. I didn’t realize how bad my lawyer was until someone told me to drop him and suggested I go with Mr. Podgorny. Boy can I tell you that was the best ...advice anyone had ever given to me ever. Mr. Podgorny treated me with respect and made me realize that I was a father that had rights. I went from being able to see my kids for one weekend a month to getting full custody. FULL CUSTODY. I couldn’t believe it, I guess I was just put down so much by my ex, her lawyer the judge and even my own lawyer that I didn’t realize I was the more fit parent. It wasn’t until Mr. Podgorny not only illuminated my rights but talked to me as a person and made me realize that I am a good father and that my ex was not only not a good mother, but not mentally fit to raise our children. I’ll leave it at that, but I will say that had it not been for Mr. Podgorny, I don’t know if I would’ve ever really been able to see my kids again, and even more so if they would be safe. Right now we have a happy family, my kids and I. I highly recommend Mr. Podgorny. My kids are the best thing that have ever happened to me, and Mr. James A. Podgorny saved me and my happiness. I couldn’t recommend him more!
