I have a CDL and was in a tough situation where I was involved in a multi-vehicle crash. I avoided killing a person in a stalled car who was perpendicular on the interstate but became involved in a three-car accident in the process. A civilian that drove into the back of my trailer, to my surprise, w...as countersuing me at the trial for 10K and the Trooper charged me with all liability without even taking my statement. Mr Cummings was able to talk some sense into the civilian that rear-ended me and spoke to the Trooper to have the charges dropped. I greatly appreciate your service.

I'm a CDL holder, So therefore rely on my License to make a living. I received a ticket in my Private vehical for failing to stop or yield to an emergency vehical. The Emergency vehical was two Cops stopped on the side of the road that had another car pulled over. It was on a devided single two lan...e street I was going East on coming was going west. I slowed down and moved as far over as I could without going into the oncoming lane. Next thing I know I had the lights flashing from some rookie cop that looked about 23 years old. The Cop wrote me for failing to reduce speed and move over one full lane length, Which I could not do because of on coming traffic. I did not stop because of fear of getting rammed from the back. May I say What I did here i've done 100 times in Chicago and not one time has any cop pulled me over for what I got pulled over for, Heck i've even done it in my semi when a State cop had someone pulled over and never received a ticket for such an action. Let me be clear I always slow down and move over as far as I can for safety. The ticket I received falls under Scotts law which can mean a 30 day license suspension and marks on my drivers license. Long story short I plead guilty to a lesser charge and received a $350.00 fine and no points on my record.

Mr. Cummings was my lawyer for my first DUI case in 2004, and got me back on the road within 3 months. BUT like a 19 yr old dumbass I got another DUI 8 months later not to mention a possession charge to boot. Mr. Cummings was very upfront and gave me no B.S. on what to expect and what he was able to ...do. He is a lawyer that really knows his stuff (and isn't bad to look at either). Mr. Cummings was cunning enough (pun definitely intended, but nevertheless true) to have me go through my possession case and my 2nd DUI case at the same time without the Judges or prosecuting lawyers knowing that I was going through these cases already on supervision for my first DUI case! Obviously after my 2nd DUI I did not get my license back until quite some time later, but Mr. Cummings stayed with me throughout the whole ordeal, and in the end I got my license back!! I live out in Charleston with my son and fiance now so unfortunately I am not able to have Mr. Cummings represent me in my newest legal endeavors but my family and I trust his legal council so much that we actually called him for a recommendation to who we should go to out here.
