Very professional and knowledgeable. She has handled my divorce, fathers will, and the sale of my parents house. When ever I had any questions she was always willing to help no matter the size of the issue. Both her and her assistant Eve have done an outstanding job helping myself and my father trans...ition into the new phase of our life’s. There are not enough words to explain my appreciation and gratitude for everything she has done for my family. If you are looking for a lawyer that actually cares, your search has ended. To whom it concerns: Anita Kontoh Scott represented me in a post-divorce trial. When I first met Anita, she gave me a magnet that says... A woman is like a teabag... you never know how strong she is until she gets into hot water! This reading from Anita let me know that she believed in me, had confi...dence in me,(when I was extremely weak) and would be there for me throughout my trial, which she was. During my post case, Anita made sure that I did not have to do any traveling, (attend any of the court proceedings) since I now live in another state; charged me reasonable fees for her services, and also made sure that I maintained my current financial assistance, (while handling my case). However, when Anita agreed to take my case, she assured me and my adult children that I'd get financial assistance from my ex-spouse, (99% for life, due to the fact that I had been married for the length of time I was married to him since the law had changed a year after I had gotten my divorce in the state that which it took place) but I did not. This truly surprised us, and from the sound of her, Anita was too. Anita is a very good attorney and the one thing I learned from her is to take charge of my life and never ever rely on anyone else to do so! I must also mention that Anita's secretary, Eve is awesome..., and helped me considerably!

Anita was very compassionate and took the time to make sure I knew what was happening with my case. Her office staff is very friendly and helpful which made the divorce process much more pleasant. I felt like she genuinely cared about me and my case. Her fees were very reasonable too. I didn't fe...el like anything was billed to me that was unnecessary.
