July of 2017 is when my nightmare began. I was arrested and stripped of everything that I had. I was ordered out of my home and could not return. My back was up against a wall and I had nowhere to turn. I was scared, worried and overwhelmed. It was at that darkest moment of my life that Jeff Tomczak... decided to take my case and ensure me he would fight for me. This journey would take the better part of year, filled with twists and turns, ups and downs, highs and lows, but Jeff and his entire staff was there every step of the way. When I was arrested and unable to talk to any family, Jeff and his staff stayed in constant communication with my family informing them of my status and guiding them through a difficult and confusing justice process. Their experience, compassion and understanding brought much needed comfort and confidence to my family in such a difficult and emotional time. As soon as I was able to secure my release from incarceration, I was immediately contacted by Jeff’s staff and asked if I was ok. The very next day I met with Jeff who ensured me he would do everything in his power to fight and defend me. I knew of Jeff’s reputation as the most effective criminal defense attorney in Will County, but I was just getting to understand how he had earned that reputation. I needed my life back and my name cleared, and I thank God that The Jeff Tomczak Law Group was able to do just that for me. Jeff and his staff worked tirelessly on my case, often putting in working hours on their own time to ensure I would have a rigorous defense. To add to the pressure, the case was widely covered in local and Chicago media. No matter what happened during the case, Jeff ensured me I was in good hands. Using his knowledge and experience, Jeff crafted an effective strategy to give me the best possible chance at victory. He answered every question I had, and was able to explain the confusing arduous and robust criminal justice process in a very easy to understand way. As my judgement day neared, I grew ever more confident that Jeff would be able to secure a victory in court. And in the end, that’s exactly what happened. My nightmare ended with a “NOT GUILTY” verdict handed down and my life was given back to me. I can attest, with 100% certainty, that The Jeff Tomczak Law Group is the best choice to make when faced with insurmountable odds like I was. I trusted Jeff and his staff with my life, and that was the best decision I have ever made. I will always be grateful to them.

I hired Jeff Tomczak last year to represent me for DUI case. During my first meeting, Jeff and Robert Bodach convince me that I have a solid case and they can fight to drop the charges. They told me that if I do not fight the case, my license will be revoked and will have to serve jail time. Since ...I never had any stint with law enforcement agencies, I thought these are good guys willing to help me out. They told me that cops reports are always misleading with verbiage like “Alcohol Smell” – that I do not need to worry as they see these kinds reports every day. I was asked for more than four thousand for representation which I agreed as I was told that Jeff was a district attorney before opening his private practice and will be able to leverage his relationship to resolve the case - so I thought it is worth paying this large amount. I never saw Jeff after first meeting – my case was handled by Robert Bodach. After two court dates, I realized that Robert has not even read the police report and watched video as he was clueless about my case. As an attorney, I thought he will have a strategy to win the case or negotiate for a sentence – I was wrong. The only thing he insisted was conviction – at the end, I decided to go for conviction as my attorney was not willing to do anything. If I knew that is how this law firm works – I would have convicted myself at first hearing to save myself from hassles. I did not want to write the review as this experience causes so much pain to me and my family when we think about Bob and Jeff, but to prevent others from going through same pain, I am writing this review. Please think twice before hiring this firm – I am not sure how they are getting five reviews.

The Tomczak Law Group was very accommodating to my schedule when making my initial consultation appointment. His firm is the only firm that was open on a Saturday. Mr. Tomczak as well as one of his associates sat down with my wife and I for over an hour discussing our case. Mr. Tomczak and his at...torneys were nothing short of amazing. Even his support staff was nothing but respectful, compassionate and understanding to our situation. They went above and beyond what I thought they should do. I'm hoping I won't ever need an attorney again, but if I do, I know who I will hire.

I went to see this lawyer for my case and he told me there was many ways to resolve in your favor. He told me he was the # 1 lawyer around and If I retained him ,he would be at court day one. Since he told me he had all this experience and he would handle the case, l retained him. He never showed u...p at court and never discussed anything about the case with me. He had a male associate who had appeared in court and never discussed any strategy to resolve the case in my favor. He seemed to have no experience in this type of case at all. His associate never wrote any motions. This Tomczak makes you believe that he is personally going to appear and diligently work on your case but does nothing.

We hired Jeff Tomczak and his Law Group. He told us about all his past accomplishments. Jeff assured us that we made a wise choice in choosing "The BEST Law Group in Will County" . After initially talking about the case, he said it would be an open and close case. He told me that HE would be the one ...working my case, however 3 months later, still no Tomczak. Instead, he sent one of his other attorneys, Bob Bodack. I called the office three times, left messages, and received no calls back. I finally got a call back from Jeff, because I stopped making payments. I did not want to hire the other attorneys at the law firm, I wanted Jeff. He said that all of the attorneys were his lawyers, and whoever was available would take the case. Due to Jeff's reputation, he was the one I wanted. However, Jeff no longer seems to want to take on cases, and just wants to take money for work poorly done. I did not hire Bob Bodack. I have never seen anything about Mr. Bodack, and would not have hired him if that was who I initially spoke with. He showed up late to every court date, had no information or knowledge of my case, and overall just did NOT have the confidence you would expect from a lawyer working for "The BEST Law Group in Will County". After I realized that Tomczak could not care less, I decided I no longer needed his law firm's services. DO YOUR RESEARCH. After making my decision, I found an awesome, young lawyer out of St. Charles, whom I am very pleased with. PS. We had to leave a star in order to leave a review. So, I guess we will leave one star for his initial presentation, because he had us fooled.
