The worst

Save yourself the heartache, headache and money. Don’t hire this guy, find someone else!

Waste of time. Waste of $5,000

I regret hiring this guy for a minor criminal matter. He charged a lot of money, didn't do much at all in 18 months (continuance after continuance). In fact, I had to tell him what he needed to do as it was common sense. He acted as if he was still the state's attorney, never felt like he was on my ...side. He gave a good dog and pony show during the initial consultation, called me his "friend" since I had known him for close to 20 years. He put me on an emotional roller coaster for 18 months. I eventually fired him as he would never return my calls, responded to only one of several emails. It was obvious by his response that he didn't even read my email. I hired another attorney who resolved the matter to my satisfaction within about 60 days by using a program that Tomczak never even mentioned to me! There are some positive reviews but I don't trust them, not after my terrible experience. Reviews can be purchased, also posted by friends, family members and employees.

Bad Experience

Never returned mug phone calls never consulted me before my case was called. I was treated very disrespectful. They come on cocky when you see them for consultation they get you’re money and that’s it. Many other attorneys to hire in will county stay away from this one

Zero Star

I hired Jeff Tomczak last year to represent me for DUI case. During my first meeting, Jeff and Robert Bodach convince me that I have a solid case and they can fight to drop the charges. They told me that if I do not fight the case, my license will be revoked and will have to serve jail time. Since ...I never had any stint with law enforcement agencies, I thought these are good guys willing to help me out. They told me that cops reports are always misleading with verbiage like “Alcohol Smell” – that I do not need to worry as they see these kinds reports every day. I was asked for more than four thousand for representation which I agreed as I was told that Jeff was a district attorney before opening his private practice and will be able to leverage his relationship to resolve the case - so I thought it is worth paying this large amount. I never saw Jeff after first meeting – my case was handled by Robert Bodach. After two court dates, I realized that Robert has not even read the police report and watched video as he was clueless about my case. As an attorney, I thought he will have a strategy to win the case or negotiate for a sentence – I was wrong. The only thing he insisted was conviction – at the end, I decided to go for conviction as my attorney was not willing to do anything. If I knew that is how this law firm works – I would have convicted myself at first hearing to save myself from hassles. I did not want to write the review as this experience causes so much pain to me and my family when we think about Bob and Jeff, but to prevent others from going through same pain, I am writing this review. Please think twice before hiring this firm – I am not sure how they are getting five reviews.
