Shay T. Allen

Mr. Allen is very familiar with Order of Protection cases in Cook County. These can be tricky because any person can spitefully go to court and file (and be granted) an order of protection against you, w/o any evidence. Instead of attempting to represent myself, I hired Mr. Allen who was able to navi...gate the Cook County Circuit Court system, address the person who falsely accused me, and ultimately remained professional and neutral during a stressful time for me. The case was dismissed, w/o every having a hearing....which saved me a lot of time. I learned quite a bit from Mr. Allen!

Shay was always there for us. I was dealing with a domestic violence charge with NO priors. Nightmare that this went this far, but with Shay's represention was eventually resolved as case dismissed. Two words BAD ATTORNEY used him in a domestic violence case which i had been falsely accused of.The proscuters had me under someone else background that had along wrap sheet.He told me not to worry about it.THAT WAS HIS ADVICE,had i not hired another attorney and got it straight i would have been in ...trouble for someone else's background.He was never prepared going in to court.I would mot recommend him.
