I got 4 speeding tickets within a 1 year period. I didn't think that was a big deal, but it turns out that was enough to get my driver's license suspended for 3 months. Living without a license for that long would've been a nightmare for me, and I didn't even want to think about the fallout from th...e insurance company (higher rates, having to file an SR-22, etc.). So, after freaking out for a couple of days and doing a copious amount of internet research on my own, I decided to call an attorney and see what could be done. I called Stacey on the morning of 6/1/15, and right from the start, she set my mind at ease. She was friendly, knowledgeable, compassionate about my situation, and did a great job of explaining everything in layman's terms. After taking the time to look up my driving history (at no charge), she suggested a plan of action and laid out all of her fees up front in the event that I wanted to proceed. Often, you hear about how expensive it is to hire a lawyer, but her fees were very reasonable, and low compared to what a suspended license might have cost me. Once I indicated I was ready to move forward, Stacey immediately filed motions on my behalf, and got me a court date for 6/9/15 (just 8 days after our initial consultation!). I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty worried. My situation is a little more complicated than I'll go into here, and my chances of avoiding suspension were probably a little questionable as a result, but Stacey managed to get me through. She communicated with me through texts and e-mail right up until the court date, and on the day of she came through like a champ! Just this morning (6/17/15), she texted me to confirm that my pending suspension had been lifted, and all is well. Stacey saved my license and managed to turn a stressful situation, which could've been a nightmare for me, into a not-so-scary experience. I think I've definitely learned my lesson when it comes to breaking the speed limit, but if I ever need an attorney again, she'll definitely be my first call. I highly recommend her!

I had a misdemeanor speeding ticket recently that had a required court appearance. While I had a relatively clean driving record, I was anxious and nervous about the matter and, after investigating the relevant statutes myself, I knew I needed an attorney. I believe finding Stacey was providential,... to say the least. I contacted her the same day I received the ticket and she responded via email right away (the same afternoon!). A couple of days later, we discussed the issues surrounding the case at her Wheaton office and I felt reassured that she had the experience and knowledge (especially as it concerns the DuPage County court system) to expertly represent me. Stacey's fees were quite reasonable and she stayed in constant communication with me to inform me of the progress of my case each step of the way. Stacey was very empathetic towards me when I was at a low psychological point (about a week prior to the court date); she represented me in court without my needing to be physically present and deftly negotiated with the state's attorney's office for the best possible outcome (the ticket was knocked down to a regular moving violation with a reasonable fine and a short period of court supervision, which was what I had been hoping for in such a case). Right after court, Stacey followed up with a phone call to explain what had happened. I was elated! I will not hesitate to recommend Stacey to anyone who needs such services in the future. (I plan to drive much more slowly going forward, so I hope I won't need her any time soon.) Thank you, Stacey, for everything!

After looking at a couple of different attorney's, I talked to Stacey and she did a great job of helping me understand what was in front of me...even before selling me on her role/value, she went out of her way to help me understand my situation (including doing some upfront research). The best pa...rt of working with Stacey is the way in which she continuously kept me in the loop on the status of the case, next steps, what she was working on, etc. Great communication...great expectation setting...given the situation, she helped make it bearable. Ultimately...she also helped deliver on the best possible outcome!

Stacey represented me in court without me having to be present. Her level of communication is outstanding. The first call I made to her, I was able to reach her directly on her cell and she is very good at sending and returning text messages and phone calls to update me on my case. She turned my mov...ing violation into a non-moving violation, without anything going on my record. Stacey has set the satisfaction level so high that I will not go anywhere else.
