Great Attorney

Nichol is an excellent Attorney. She helped me with my divorce in 2019 and then modifications in 2021. I actually worked with her at another firm and hunted her down to work with her again at Blacha. I recommend her to anyone that needs an expert in family law.

Child custody

Nichol fought hard in our custody case. Her ability to remain calm and rational, and to think on her feet is impressive. Her sense of awareness of cost, and especially her dedication to keeping costs down are also a huge positive. I find her honest and of high integrity, and very effective in dealing... with opposing council. She also was prompt and thorough in correspondence and responses.

Adoption case

Nichol was awesome. I had acquired with many lawyers about my husband adopting my daughter. Her biological father was deported and never part of her life for 11 years, my husband raised her 9 of those years and wanted to adopt her legally. All other attorney's declined to take my case, stating it was... impossible since the biological father was not here. But Nichol took on my case and successfully completed it. My husband is now my daughter's legal father.

Smart and tenacious

Nichol quickly figures out what needs to be done and is great at assessing what the court needs, from a paperwork standpoint and a mental standpoint.
