Mark McAndrew took time to hear and understand our concerns and explain our options. We have confidence in his judgment and that he is an effective advocate for our needs and interests. Communications have been timely and thorough.
Hired this attorney for an appeal. Paid a whopping $44,000 for opening and reply briefs noting that as the scope of work decreased, the billed hours increased. Case was selected for oral argument and associate that made argument billed me a reasonable 13 hours. Mark, who didn't even make the argument sent me a bill for over 40 hours at almost $400 per hour. I paid a portion and wanted to mediate the remainder. He refused and dropped me mid appeal. Held me hostage to an outrageous bill and refused further representation until i paid it and also put money in escrow which i declined. I'm used to attorneys padding bills a bit, but not piling on an amount equal to a years college tuition. Also, every stage of my case was like the first time they had seen the record and no efficiency ever resulted due to growing familiarity with my case. Paid this guy $51,000 and got dropped mid appeal.
