Emily Rapp serves as a partner at McSwain Rapp Law, LLC. She represents clients throughout Kane, DuPage, Will, and Kendall counties and also handles matters before the appellate court. Her career reflects a longstanding commitment to family law and to the legal profession in Illinois.
Emily has taken on numerous leadership roles within well-known bar associations. She previously served as President of the Kane County Bar Association, chaired the Family Law Section of the DuPage County Bar Association, led the Solo, Small Firm and Technology Committee for the Kane County Bar Association, and contributed as a member of the Family Law Committee for the Illinois State Bar Association. She has also been invited to speak at seminars hosted by state and local bar associations on issues related to family law. Beyond her presentations, Emily has written legal materials for continuing education, including a chapter on the Parentage Act for Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
Her professional accomplishments have also been recognized by fellow attorneys. Since 2022, Emily has been named a Super Lawyer. Earlier in her career, she was selected as an Emerging Lawyer by Leading Lawyers in 2016, an honor reserved for attorneys identified by their peers as among the top lawyers age 40 or younger.
