Dave was my lawyer for a year on my workers Comp. case. Dave was very knowledgeable during the time when he was affiliated with my case. Every time something came up with the claims adjuster he would handle the situation in a timely manner. But as he is no longer handling my case for some reason........ he was good to talk to about the case he didn't make me feel as if i was a bother..... but all in all he treated me great and i would recommend him to family,friends, and also strangers.

I needed a worker's compensation attorney after my insurance claim was denied. It was my first time ever needing an attorney so I was skeptical. I was referred to Dave after speaking to another law office. Initially, I was in communication with several other attorneys but Dave seemed more knowledgeab...le/concerned and had previously had a case similar to mine so I decided to go with him. He was honest with me up front and said that it would not be an easy case and it would take time. He was right about both. I put my trust in his work and it ended up working in my favor. He understood the law well enough to justify the worker's comp claim and I received a settlement which I was more than pleased with. I feel like he battled for me-he told me to defer all communications to him if the insurance company contacted me and I did. The witness of the event was blindly contacted (the witness did not know I had retained an attorney at that time) by the insurance company for questioning regarding what happened. Afterwards, the witness called me and I immediately called Dave (after hours) to let him know what happened. He told me that the insurance company's call was a good sign that they were taking the case seriously and for me not to worry. I felt so much better after speaking to him. The entire process did take some time but Dave was always easily accessible-I moved out of town during the process and he handled everything smoothly from Chicago. Before I moved, I met with Dave at the law office in order to put a face with the name as our previous communication was via phone or email only. While I was there, he answered all my questions and made a copy of my file to take with me. He was reassuring, reliable, honest, and handled my case well.

very dissatisfied in this lawyer, wasn't bad till it came to settlement time,then he put his greed before my financial needs,talked me into holding out for more money then blatantly lied about the time it would take to get the check, gave my landlord a date I'd pay him all the back and current rent I... owed according to Mr immartino's claims,it's now over double the time he told me and I'm on the verge of being evicted and still no check in sight.
