Biography
David R. Brown is a partner in the law firm of Springer Brown Covey Gaertner and Davis, LLC. Mr. Brown was appointed to the Panel of Chapter 7 Trustees for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division, by the United States Trustee for Region 11 in 1984 and has been serving since that time. His law practice has concentrated exclusively in the area of Bankruptcy on behalf of debtors, creditors, and trustees in chapters 7, 11, and 13 since 1978. Mr. Brown currently serves on the United States Trustee Advisory Panel.
Prior to joining Springer, Brown, Covey, Gaertner & Davis, LLC, in April of 2005, Mr. Brown was in private practice since 1984. Mr. Brown served as an attorney with the U.S. Trustee’s Office (including acting U.S. Trustee) from 1980 to 1984. Mr. Brown was an attorney with Mayer, Brown & Platt from 1978 to 1980.
