I was seriously injured at the Menards Home Improvement Store in March 2008. It occurred when an employee was working a forklift in the aisle adjacent to where I was shopping. He pushed 2 boxes, each containing a bathroom sink and a vanity, off a shelf that was about 20 feet overhead. One of the boxes landed on my head and knocked me to the floor. I suffered multiple serious injuries including a broken neck. Menards refused to take responsibility for the injuries that were caused by their negligence and, prior to going to trial, they added insult to the injuries by secretly having me under video surveillance for over a year. I enlisted the services of Richard Turner as my legal representative.
