Patricia (Patti) Cari Nowak graduated in 1986 from Loyola University Law School and is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois. She obtained her B.S. in Nursing from Loyola University and her M.S. in Nursing from Boston College and utilized both her legal and nursing background practicing as a trial attorney for 25 years representing physicians, hospitals and other allied health professionals in professional negligence claims in both State and Federal Court in Illinois Ms. Nowak successfully argued appeals before the Illinois State Appellate Court and represented professionals before the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. She served as Litigation Practice Group Leader for the Dykema law firm. She has been recognized as an Illinois Leading Lawyer. Ms. Nowak has been an invited guest lecturer in both legal and health care forums.
