Steve Brody is a talented attorney and a great human being. On occasion, he appeared disorganized and disconnected but when it counted, he was extremely sharp and tenacious. He knows the law very well, he tells it like it is, and verified every claim I made along the way. I hired Steve to handle a very difficult custody situation. Two of my three children were living with their mother who neglected both their medical care and schooling. One of my children has a significant medical condition that requires daily medication which he often refused to take. My ex-wife d...id not force him to take the medication which ended upon in our son being hospitalized. My ex-wife also let them miss school often because she did not want to force them to go which resulted in many failed classes. Steve took charge, filed the appropriate petitions and had a great guardian ad litem appointed. I got primary residential placement of both of my younger children who are now performing very well in school and my son with the medical condition is now taking his medication daily which has caused his health to improve dramatically. Steve’s representation was essential in removing my children from a bad situation and placing them in my care.

I had a difficult situation with my son at his school. A friend recommended that I call Mr. Brody and I am so happy I did. Mr. Brody jumped right in and fought hard for my son. I retained Steve represent me in my divorce. He was able to negotiate a 50/50 custody arrangement with my ex-wife. I now have my daughters every other week. When my ex-wife wanted more child support we went to hearing. Unfortunately the judge ruled in her favor and doubled my child support. Stev...e appealed the judge’s child support decision and the appellate court overturned the increased child support award. We are now looking forward to getting my support reduced back to its previous levels and getting a refund of the excess amounts I was forced to pay. I don’t believe this could have been done without Steve’s knowledge and ability.
