Over $2000 for a DUI case. Promised to fight my DUI case, he kept pushing the court date every single time I showed up until I paid all of the money. After the money was paid, a different story was being told from George P. Kallas. Our game plan quickly changed from fighting our case to getting a pl...ea deal. Due to the arresting officer going out on workers compensation claim, the case was dismissed. 2 months later, I received a latter stating my charges have been brought back by the state, because the arresting officer is back and now they have a witness. I called George, and he told me I would have to pay him $2500 more for him to take care of it. Sketchy guy! Even accused me of using a stolen credit card once, even tho that card had my name on there. BEWARE OF THIS PLEA DEAL LAWYER

DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY. Handled a DV case for me which I paid $2500. Went to court the first 4 times to get a bunch of continuances and I ended up getting a conditional discharge which permanently stays on your record and you can't get it off. You can get a conditional discharge in 1 court appearance, ...I know because I've done it before. Initially pled me not guilty and then turned the tables on me at the last court appearance and pled me guilty. Did no prepwork into the psychological profile of the other party. Asked no questions about what led up to the incident or the incident details. Was supposed to go to trial so I'd have a chance for an acquittal and he never did. When I questioned him about the type of deal I was getting, this guy had the audacity to storm away from me 3 times flailing his arms up at me, the 3rd time leaving me at the courthouse alone with my question I answered when I questioned him what type of deal I was getting and why. Also laughed at me while I was up in front of the judge answering "yes your honor" or "no your honor." Is this how I paying client should be treated? With this kind of CALLOUSness and disrespect. I asked for part of my retainer back since I clearly overpaid on this case and he never got back to me. Had a gut feeling from the beginning he never cared about my case and that came to fruition. Do yourself a favor, and do not become the next victim of misrepresentation, monetary fraud and just flat out rudeness while your record gets ruined. I really gotta question where the rest of these reviews are coming from.
