Joshua Lloyd is an experienced attorney who concentrates his practice on family law and criminal defense. He is a zealous advocate during emotional and contentious times, and works side by side with his client to advise and protect their best interest.
Mr. Lloyd has been a litigator his entire career. He started out as a prosecutor with the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he handled various misdemeanor cases including domestic battery, DUI, and theft. Attorney Lloyd was quickly promoted to the Felony Trial Division where he handled serious felony criminal cases encompassing drug and alcohol-related offenses, domestic violence cases, orders of protection, burglary and theft, home invasions, and arson.
After serving as a prosecutor, Mr. Lloyd began practicing family law, representing clients in contested divorce cases dealing with complex issues. During his career, he has represented numerous clients in the surrounding counties, and worked with attorneys and judges throughout the state. Attorney Lloyd believes that each case is different, and he is passionate about working with his clients to come to an amicable resolution during a difficult time in their lives.
