Please think TWICE before retaining this attorney!

I have to preface this by saying I do not write reviews, this is my second review I have ever done (the other was a positive review of another professional) thus this shows the importance of how I feel about this attorney. As a busy professional I expect a certain level of client service, in the end ...I am paying the attorney to represent me so you would think they are working for and with you towards a common goal. Each time I tried to get in contact with the office it was a struggle, email phone or otherwise a return to my message was like pulling teeth. In the process of closing on our home I had to reach out to the attorney’s office to actually do their job several times, which they kept putting off and telling me that they do over 2,600 closings a year and they do things like they do things…. Which is great for them, however I could care less about the other 2,599 closings – I care about my closing which I am paying them for. To have representation, which doesn’t really represent you is definitely not what I expected. I was referred to this office with a recommendation they are very responsive and helpful – which is why I chose them. Needless to say, the recommendation was very inaccurate and a true false representation of the law office. The paralegals, or staff, I have dealt with at this office believe it’s fine to yell at the person who retained their services (in other words the person who is paying them – so wouldn’t that be your boss for the time period?). I have been in the client service business for long enough to know if my client asks me a question, and I am too lazy to look up the accurate data, and proceed to yell at them – I will get fired. In this law office – nothing happens – no I apologize, nothing. Very professional. As to the detail of work, well – that’s a whole different story. Waiting two weeks for information you had already you just failed to look at the correct side of a page – not very detailed in my opinion. When the person who retains you tells you that – “you have the information, you are looking under the buyer not the seller portion of the page” is a bit frightening, what else are they missing? Lastly, the day before the closing – specifically end of business day – when you get an email from the attorney they will not be showing up for the closing because of the harsh weather and other more pressing closings is very interesting….especially that there was no harsh weather in the first place… and second, closings are in doors- what does the weather have to do with this anyway? Only positive aspect of this experience was the replacement who was sent in the attorney’s place. Finally, a kind, well spoken, polite professional! Too bad I didn’t chose that attorney in the first place – I prefer paying people for work they actually do instead of headaches and stress they give you. Good luck everyone with your legal matters – I sure do hope you will not have an unpleasant experience as I had.

Please consider another lawyer for representation

In my experience Mr. Galgan is incompetent, unprofessional and does not act in the best interest of his clients, but rather chooses the path of least resistance. His work ethic is inadequate and he does not conduct business with any of amount of due diligence. Mr. Galgan and his office staff are unre...sponsive and when they do respond it is with complete indifference. When it comes to representing his clients he falls short of even the most basic level of reasonable expectations. I would strongly suggest you find another lawyer who will properly represent you.

Extremely poor to deal with, was not helpful after a phone conversation & numerous emails. Had to find a different attorney.

Had spoke with Bob Galgan Jr. on the phone who did act a bit obnoxious at one point. After telling me on the phone he could help me I emailed him all the documents he requested. After one month I never received an e-mail or phone call, so I followed up with him. He claimed he never received my e-m...ail and when I sent a second email explaining my property more in depth he responded rudely. Then after another week passed I followed-up again and the response I received was he had not done anything with my documents. So I do not recommend using this attorney, nothing but a waste of your time!!!
