Honest and straightforward

I was laid off during the COVID-19 pandemic. I asked Ms. Goldstein to review the situation. Ms. Goldstein reviewed the details I shared with her and concluded that, although perhaps unfair, there was little about my lay off that was likely illegal. That could have been it, but she took the time to of...fer suggestions to work with my employer for a more fair outcome, and she also offered a suggestion for moving forward by contacting the Career Resource Center.

Great HR compliance attorney!

Ms Goldstein came recommended to me by another attorney friend when our company was growing quickly and we wanted a thorough review of our HR policies and employment practices. She is a total professional; timely, very knowledgeable and experienced in this area of law. We found her costs to be reaso...nable and the quality of her work is just excellent. I would highly recommend her!

Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to

Lori came highly recommended to me by another attorney when I was seeking advice on how to handle an unemployment claim. She is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She explained things concisely and in a way that was easy to understand. I highly recommend her.

Hardworking and conscientious advocate

Ms. Goldstein was a great advocate for me in improving my severance package. She was able to improve substantially the constraints on my future work with no loss in the settlement amount. She was thoughtful and attentive to my concerns but did not over promise or waste anyone's time. I found her to b...e well-informed, hardworking, conscientious and aggressive. I hope to never have to hire her again but I would in a heartbeat if I need to.

Exceeded expectations!

I was referred to Lori through a mutual friend/ client of Lori's. After finding myself in the unexpected situation of losing my VERY long term job, my friend suggested that I contact an attorney and explained what an "extraordinary" person Lori is. After working with her, describing Lori as an e...xtraordinary person barely scratches the surface of her character and her talent as an attorney. Her dedication, kindness, knowledge of the law, professionalism, determination, organization and follow through wildly exceeded my expectations. She is truly an expert in her field who made an extremely difficult situation much easier for me to navigate. From the moment of my first consultation, I began to feel informed and educated. She graciously, generously and very patiently spent time reviewing my case with me and explaining my options. When the time came to retain her services, I almost instantly felt optimistic about my case, despite the negative circumstances. She explained exactly what information I needed to provide and took over from there. When the process began, I was uninformed of my rights and unaware that I needed an attorney. By the end of the process, Lori was able to negotiate a much better and more fair severance package than what I was originally offered. If I had not hired Lori, I would have been likely to accept the original offer that was presented to me which would have left me feeling somewhat powerless. As important as the financial benefit of the increased severance, is the sense of validation and pride that I feel knowing that the wrong that happened to me has been righted. I'm very fortunate to have found such a kind and dedicated crusader who works so hard for her clients. Working with Lori has been an enlightening and empowering experience- I'll be forever grateful.
