Mr. Seo was born in Korea, raised and educated in America. Mr. Seo is an attorney with more than 15 years of practice currently running his own law firm in the sector of Commercial/Corporate, Personal Injury, Criminal, and International matters including but not limited to Immigration, International Real Estate, and International Investment. (2010 - 2011), Legal Advisor of Korean American Association of Chicago (2016-2018). Currently, Mr, Seo serves as a legal counsel for Y.S. Health, Inc. and Logos Missions, Inc. Mr. Seo is admitted to practice in New York, Georgia, and Illinois.
Mr. Seo has loves serving the community. Since Mr. Seo run for the Vice President of the Korean American Association of Chicago (KACC) (Election year 2007), he served as legal Advisor in 2010, and Board member of KAAC from 2011 to 2013. Mr. Seo also served as Board member of Korean American Cultural Center of Chicago (2010- 2011), vice chairman of Korean American Sports Council of Chicago in 2012 after serving as Board Member since 2008 to 2012. Mr. Seo was a member of Juvenile Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, Rotary club. Mr. Seo served as the General Secretary for four years at the National Unification of Advisory Council managing over 50 events devoted to promote awareness to Asian community and main stream. Mr. Seo drafted and prepared resolution for the ratification of North Korean Human Rights Act that was passed by Illinois Congress and Senate in 2014. Mr. Seo served proudly as the 33rd president of the Korean American Association in Chicago representing over 100,000 Korean Americans. Mr. Seo was elected as the Northfield Township Trustee which his term ends on April 2021.
Mr. Seo’s dedication to future generation is extraordinary. Mr. Seo is the founder and president of the American Multicultural Society, a non-for-profit organization that focuses solely empowering middle school, high school, and college students as global leaders. Mr. Seo enjoys promoting global mindset and skillset to multicultural communities and received numerous recognitions for his work. Mr. Seo has been presented with numerous awards and certificates for his work including a Republic of Korea President’s Award in 2012, award from the World Korean Interchange and Corporation Association, Exemplary Service Award from Asian American Coalition, and Volunteer Service Award - Gold from the President of the United States of America, appreciation from Frank G. Jackson, Mayor of Cleveland, appreciation from Kim, Kwan Yong, Governor of Kyoung Sang Province, Lee, Sang Hyo, Chairman of Council House of Kyoung Sang Province, Sul, Dong Keun, General Secretary of the Ministry of Education of South Korea, appreciation from The Korean War Veterans of Ashtabula County, Ohio, and Korean American Community Services Award.
Mr. Seo has Juris Doctor, Masters of Business Administration, Masters of International Management, Attorney Assistant Certificate in Corporate/Litigation, and Bachelors of Science in Business Administration degrees. Mr. Seo speaks six languages with Korean, English and Spanish at native level. Attorney Seo is married to Grace Seo with three children, Ethan, Clara, and Arin.
