Biography
Kathy Salvi was raised in Waukegan, Illinois, and is a life-long Chicago resident. Kathy graduated from Carmel Catholic High School in Mundelein, Illinois, and Loyola University, Chicago, where she received a B.A. in 1981. She graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law where she received her J.D. in 1984. She was admitted to the Illinois bar that same year. Upon receiving her law degree, Kathy served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Justice Harry D. Strouse of the Second Appellate District, Illinois, and then as an Assistant Public Defender with the Chicago Public Defender’s Office. From there, she entered the private practice of law.

I love Kath!

Brilliant and trustworthy
Kathy has great attention to detail. She handled an automobile accident injury case for me, and I am very happy with my settlement. She always returned my phone calls and answered my questions. Great result.

She's the best!
We came so close to trial, and Kathy did the lion's share of the work: depositions, motions, etc. She knows how to try a case. Salvi & Maher are the best, don't get me wrong, but Kathy doesn't get the glory like the other lawyers there!
