I don't understand how the other reviewers could be talking about the same person. Tom Makedonski has been a disaster! He regularly ignores phone calls and emails. He says he will email documents then doesn't. He agreed to pay for the financial education portion of my Chapter 7, then failed to send m...e the link necessary to complete the education, after numerous promises that he would. I paid for the education instead and took the certificate down to the court myself to be sure it was filed in a timely manner. I have a creditor that needs be added to the list of creditors. I sent the bill to Tom in January. It is now April, and I have confirmed with the bankruptcy court that he still has not filed the additional creditor. Oh, and I hired him and paid him in April 2013, but he didn't actually file the case until January 2014, after I asked him for my money back. When I talk to him on the phone, he's all promises, but he doesn't deliver the service that a competent attorney would. You may pay more for someone else, but trust me, it will be worth it! I'd have been better off filing this case without an attorney, because he has documents that I need to see, but he won't send them to me.

Just got my discharge today and you can say I am relieved to start all over again. I highly recommend Tom Makedonski. He explained what I needed, and filed my case within 24 hours as promised on his website. He made me feel at ease and really explained the process in a simplified way. I remember when... leaving his office, I was asking myself can it be this simple? Mr. Makedonski explained to me that based on my financial situation that it would be that easy and he proceeded to show me my numbers and the minimum requirements to file a chapter 7 bankruptcy. I really appreciated the crash course!
