I found David while searching online for a reasonably priced divorce lawyer who could help me with my uncontested divorce (in DuPage county Illinois). I contacted him by email and he was very prompt in his responses, knowledgeable and personable while still being professional. He helped me througho...ut the entire process, explained everything very thoroughly, his price was very reasonable and he honestly just made the whole process seem much less intimidating, and much easier than I expected it to be. It took about a month and a half or so for the whole process beginning to end, which I thought was very quick! I am now divorced and using my last name again, and couldn't be happier. I definitely plan to contact him again if any other legal issues arise. I would also happily recommend him to anyone searching for a lawyer for a divorce.

Dave Wolkowitz was very helpful in my uncontested divorce, it was relatively quick and painless, I thought it was going to be a bigger headache,(but don't worry my now ex wife made sure to still give me a headache during the process, but who can escape that?) as I was in a Same sex marriage but every...thing moved along smoothly, he's intelligent, sensitive, personable and organized. I was having issues finding a lawyer that handled same sex divorces, and was relived to find him, compared to others he's reasonably priced, has a keen understanding of the law and what we needed to do, and no hidden fees or surprises, very straight forward, and confident.
