OUTCOME: Win

OUTCOME: Won trial
Trial conducted on financial matters. Defeating opposing party's request for spousal maintenance (alimony), and demonstrated opposing party's attempts defraud the court.
OUTCOME: Order of Protection denied in favor of Client
Client's ex wife filed a petition for an emergency order of protection in which she accused Client of phone threats, rape, and battery. She was granted the emergency order of protection without him pre ... sent. At the hearing to determine if the judge should issues an interim (temporary) order of protection, I proved that the ex-Wife lied as a way to get back at my Client. The ex-Wife was denied an interim order of protection and my Client ended up with a better visitation schedule than before.
OUTCOME: Divorced
Completed one of the first same-sex divorces in Illinois.
