I contacted Lee Zeidman after receiving a traffic ticket that the police officer described as a setup. I personally watched six other people be pulled over and ticketed at the same intersection within minutes of my ticket. On principle, I do not believe it is fair for officers to set up a complicated... scenario and then ticket people for normal, lawful driving around obstacles. I have an excellent, clean driving record and was irritated that a ticket resulted from something completely outside of my control. I didn’t want my insurance cost to rise from a ticket, primarily because I felt I hadn’t done anything wrong. Lee was able to explain the choices and what would likely result if I pleaded guilty in court and was offered driving supervision; if I pleaded guilty, paid the ticket and spent time doing online driving school; or if I pleaded not guilty in court and then won or lost. He was firm about the choices and seemed amused that I wanted to plead not guilty because my principles were offended, but he agreed to take the case to court for me, and my ticket was dismissed by the judge. I was glad and of course felt vindicated! Thanks, Lee! We set up our phone consultations via email, spoke twice by phone before the court date, and touched base by email right before the court time. This was during the pandemic so court was conducted on a Zoom call. He obviously knew how to handle the legal matter and I was fortunate that it went in my favor. I am glad I hired Lee to represent me.
