Lucas Figiel is a Polish-speaking divorce and family law attorney who practices in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Lucas is the founding and managing partner of Inverness Legal, Ltd., a firm dedicated exclusively to the practice of family law. Mr. Figiel has devoted his entire career to guiding individuals through divorces, paternity proceedings, orders of protection, and guardianship matters. His practice includes property division, debt allocation, maintenance, child support, allocation of parental responsibilities and parenting time. Mr. Figiel graduated from Northwestern University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in English literature and philosophy. He subsequently earned his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2003 with a certificate in Litigation and Alternate Dispute Resolution. Mr. Figiel speaks fluent Polish and proudly represents people of Polish descent in Cook, DuPage, Lake, Will, and Kane counties. Mr. Figiel is well-regarded by his clients, fellow family law practitioners, and judges for his knowledge of family law, distinguished oral advocacy skills, and diligence in seeing matters through to completion.
