I am extremely disappointed with this GAL’s conduct. From the beginning, her approach has felt biased and unbalanced, creating the clear impression that she favored one parent over the other instead of remaining neutral, as the role requires. Rather than focusing on timely progress and the needs of t...he child, she repeatedly inserted herself into areas that were outside her scope, causing unnecessary delays and stress for everyone involved. What should have been a straightforward process has turned into a drawn-out, frustrating experience that has felt anything but fair or professional. A Guardian ad Litem should support the court with impartiality, clarity, and efficiency, not create obstacles, derail timelines, or leave one parent feeling unheard. The experience was exhausting, discouraging, and deeply upsetting.

Joanna gets straight to the point and works diligently to ensure she's focused on what's best for the child/children. She's very responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. I've worked with other lawyers and none have the tenacity that I saw in Joanna. While she represented our child, I appreciated... her support, but more so her encouragement on how to better coparent our child. I would strongly recommend Ms. Challacombe to any parent who maybe going through such a challenging time. She's a straight shooter, but if you're honest with her, she will fight for you. I've recommended friends and family, and those who've utilized her service were always pleased. Thank you, Joanna - because of you I've been able to maintain a relationship with both my son and his mother. We are both very proud of him and are grateful for your support and patience.

Joanna was attorney who never followed up 98 percent of time by calling me back or in timely matter. Could hardly ever sit down with her had appt twice cancel . Lost all my information first visit. She kep a affidavit and a spouse relief tax form that was filled out and supposed to be given to my ex ...to be's lawyer and never did she sat on it for over three months Until I fired her. She has never gave me a bill or a statement of services for the whole eight months Honestly never kept records of time she spent as I had her as an attorney If she did I would reveive a stmt and a refund. When I fired her she told me she would give it to me in two weeks and never did and had to report her to the bar association. She communicated My case with outside people which she has no bussiness to or without my permission. She was not truthful. The way she talk to me was horrible . She change court houses without my permission my feeling to make more money. She didnt care what I felt or what I had to say, All i have to say she did hardly nothing for my case but made things worse.

Joanna was very good in regards to law, reality of the situation, and the personal part of dealing with a divorce. She stuck by me when other lawyers couldn't handle it. She was put in difficult situations and stuck with it. She is a strong woman and it reflected in her representation of me. I hig...hly recommend her to anybody in a divorce.

After years of having a feeling something was going on while my son was at his father's house everything finally came to light. The judge ordered her as my sons Child Rep. I thank God every day that she was chosen to represent my son. She know the law extensively. She takes all of the facts, listens ...and truly wants what is best for the child. She is truly amazing and she has saved my son. There are no words to thank her for what she has done.
