Mr. Strauss joined the Law Office of Gary L. Schlesinger in March, 2006, and he became a partner on September 1, 2010, when Schlesinger & Strauss, LLC, was formed. Michael has handled family law cases in seven counties in the state of Illinois. Michael also serves as a mediator and is frequently appointed to represent children as well.

I would not recommend him
I did not meet Michael until after I hired he and his partner to handle my post-decree custody issue. At first I found him to be very direct and competent. I would hire a used car salesman before I hired Strauss again ...... RUN
First couple meetings were great then he stopped. I have correspondence sent to Strauss from the other attorney that was not sent to me for 3 weeks and calls not returned for almost a month.

unfortunately would not recommend
It took months for their group to respond to me via email or phone, it took several months for them to start working on my petitions, and when they did, it was poorly written. I did not feel supported at all. Poor communication (if any), and felt like I could not trust them to do what was best for me...

Replied last March 04, 2012I honestly have no idea who this is or could be as this has never happened. It has never ever takens over a week, let alone a month, for me to contact someone. Never. Perhaps, they have could me with someone else.
