Do not Hire
I hired this attorney on October 31 and paid a retainer. By February 7, the only completed work was a single letter. Despite repeated assurances that he was “getting right on it,” no meaningful progress was made on my case. In December, I specifically asked whether he was too busy to handle my mat...

Do your research
I paid David a 5000.00 retainer and after accomplishing absolutely nothing I got 1000 dollars back. Constantly unable to get in touch with him. Claims to be in the hospital a lot. Everything seem to be a grey area with him. Very disappointed pretty much wasted 4000 dollars. I will be filing a compla...

He took my money and did nothing to advance my case
Honestly, hiring Mr. Harley was one of the biggest mistakes in my life. He didn't have any intention to do anything on my case. He took my $6000, and did nothing for 2 month. After initial phone conversation Mr. Harley asked me for a $1000 to start working on my case. He promised me to email our Cont...
This person contacted me in January 2017 and I agreed to take her case, but she decided to handle her case on her own at that time. After several months, she lost her case. Unfortunately, she contacted me after the time for appealing the case she lost had expired. However, I found a way to help her legally and to move forward with her case to help her child going forward, after speaking with her again in November 2018. She signed an engagement letter in December 2018 and paid a retainer for my services to assist her child. I informed her in December that I would not be able to file anything or focus on her matter until after the holidays, but that we had plenty of time to file a complaint. I started working on her matter over the holidays, and would have been ready to file her complaint in mid to late January. However, I got sick early January and was in the hospital for several days, in ICU. When I told her I was in ICU, she did not believe me and terminated my services. Unfortunately, in the short weeks I represented her, she seemed to expect I could do in 4 to 6 weeks what she was unable to do in 9 months. I returned her the full amount she paid, despite having worked several hours on the matter. When originally approached by this client, I had a paralegal on staff who assisted in my absence.

Lon-term Representation
David has represented our son for 6 years. He has guided us with our son's special education needs throughout the process. He's probably attended 17 to 20 IEP meetings and pushed the school into doing what they originally refused. He's been available for us after hours and early in the morning. We'v...

SCAM ARTIST - DO NOT EVER HIRE THIS ATTORNEY
I retained Mr. Harley in Dec 2017 and Jan 2018 for two separate cases involving employment related disputes/issues. Mr. Harley took a retainer of $2500 for one case and $3000 for the other case, he stated these were needed to hire a Private Investigator. Mr. Harley hired an investigator after many...
I never represented this individual as I've never represented anyone named Tony or Anthony. I have not fled the area as I still maintain an office in Charleston (Mount Pleasant) area and in Upstate. I moved my office in 2018. All retainers received in 2017 have accounting and in fact all 2017 retainers not used for fees or expenses have been returned. The only Anthony I know is my former boss at Scariano, Himes and Petrarca, CHTD., where I worked in Chicago from the late 90's and again in mid-2000's. He passed away over two years ago.

"I endorse this lawyer. David really knows education law. Very strategic and very oriented towards executing the strategy he agrees with his client."
