David Alan Harley

Our son was in distress and up to be expelled from school for the rest of the school year. Mr. Harley represented us and stopped the expulsion hearing because our son has disabilities. Our son did not have a plan they call an IEP. Mr. Harley got our son evaluated and eligible for this plan. He atte...nded the meeting to review the evaluation and to develop the plan. Our son thrived the rest of the school year and we hope this upcoming school year will be even better.

I was being targeted as a teacher and believed being set up to be fired. David successfully helped me transfer to another school in a better position. He also helped me recoup pay/stipend because I worked with special needs students. I met David at an IEP meeting representing a student. He impressed ...me and I hired him.

We recently moved to Greenville SC with a child with disabilities who started high school in August. We met multiple times with the school with no results. After hiring David, he made a few calls to School District's attorney, who he seemed to know, and after one IEP meeting, David helped obtain wha...t my child needed in his IEP in terms of services and accommodations. I strongly recommend.

My daughter was in a very challenging situation with a suspension at a local college in Charleston. we did not get an attorney from the get go which proved to be a horrible mistake. I called David and he was amazing. He assured us he would do his best to address the situation as he is very familiar w...ith education law and know the ins and outs . He was so nice and accommodating and went above and beyond to answer questions . His communication was fantastic and was a genuine guy, which I loved. Would HIGHLY recommend !!!

David has represented our son for 6 years. He has guided us with our son's special education needs throughout the process. He's probably attended 17 to 20 IEP meetings and pushed the school into doing what they originally refused. He's been available for us after hours and early in the morning. We'v...e spent numerous calls with him over 1 hour. Our son would have suffered without his help. He was sick for a period but kept us informed the whole time. We never missed a deadline or meeting. He will be my son's lawyer through College. Highly recommend.
