Felt deceived

Richard h. Marcus was assigned to represent me through the jeffrey leving firm. At the first couple meetings they promised to fight for me and to take good care of my divorce and custody case. After I hired them and made the initial deposit and first payment he basically forgot about my case. None of... my initial requests were ever taken care of. My emails and calls would go unreturned or take days to respond. He seemed to always be in the dark about my case, and scramble the day before court to try and do work on my case. I asked many times to see copies of correspondence on my case that I was charged for and I was ignored. Including health concerns about my kids. Also, he would only partially or not at all explain the hearings agenda. I did however receive non stop calls from their billing department. He acted like a nice guy, but I felt trult decieved when I saw what was actually accomplished in my case as to what I was billed. I still have never received proof. I am going to file a complaint with the bar association, as well most likely a malpractice lawsuit when my case is over. I definitely would not recommend him or jeffery leving's office.

Intelligent Calculated Professional

Intelligent, calculated, and professional, Richard Marcus’s ability to negotiate and intercede on my behalf exceeded all expectations. During one of the most difficult times in my life, he expertly guided me though the treacherous waters of the family court system. I credit Richard with securing cust...ody of my child, protecting me from harassment my means of obtaining an order of protection, as well as lending a sympathetic ear to listen to my concerns and worries. An attorney with Richard’s experience, knowled

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals.
