I contacted Shana Vitek and Jordan Rosenberg regarding a rather sticky divorce matter. In the course of refinancing on a property, I discovered that my divorce from 8 years ago had not actually been entered in the Circuit Court of Cook County, and therefore, the case had been dismissed. I had not bee...n notified of this, and I had assumed wrongly that the divorced had been finalized. I was distraught and completely overwhelmed to discover that it hadn't been. When I contacted Shana and Jordan, they were immediately responsive and reassuring. Just to do my due diligence, however, before hiring them, I consulted with another lawyer. This other lawyer wanted to charge double the price that Shana and Jordan would, and, on top of that, he was not optimistic about my case's success.
