I recently celebrated 25 years of practice, nearly all of it in family law. I served as the president of the McHenry County Bar Association, chair and vice chair of the American Bar Association Family Law Section Adoption Committee, vice chair of the ABA FLS Assisted Reproductive Technologies committee, and have held numerous other professional offices. I wrote a book on paternity law and am the legal contributor for another. I have also contributed numerous book chapters and articles and lectured on a wide variety of family law issues, including adoption and parentage.
I am an adoptive parent. I handle a wide variety of family law cases and litigation cases in McHenry County, Illinois. Most of my practice focuses on child custody, child support, spousal support and property division, and adoption. I am proud to provide quality work, close client contact and value for legal services.

I found that Mr. Gilmore gave excellent advice and direction for my case. He was realistic in his approach and made sure we made the right decisions before going into court. Once we got into court, it was a slam dunk case that allowed me to obtain residential custody of my boys.
