I believe that estate planning is your chance to say what happens to your property and your children rather than the State deciding what happens and therefore is something that everyone should do.

I think a trust is an excellent way to sidestep the public process of probate or an excellent tool for managing money and property for younger beneficiaries.

A will is the method by which you get to say where your property goes. It also is the only legal way to say who will care for your children if something happens to you. I think it deserves more than a form that most people do not have the time to fully understand.
