During my consult with Josh, we discussed what my goals were for the divorce and I hired him immediately. He was amazing during the process and did a great job keeping me focused on my end goals, and how things would affect my children and tried to keep that as positive as possible during a divorce. ...The divorce was difficult due to the two parties being on not only different pages, but possibly different books. After our journey together, when we got to the end of the process, Josh got me everything that I wanted at the beginning of the divorce. I would recommend Josh over any other lawyer in the Fargo Morehead area. Not only do you get attorney Nyberg when you hire him, you get his office staff who are courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable as well. The three of them are truly a winning team on so many levels I can’t even truly explain it with words.

I had a great initial consultation with Josh. He seemed very knowledgeable and personable, but soon after he showed his true lack of work ethic. During my divorce case, he consistently neglected to post documents and even went on vacation - when he said he'd still be working on my case - during the w...orst possible time in the proceedings. The documents that weren't posted caused hundreds of dollars in extra fees to accrue, which he said he would cover since it was his fault in the first place, but ultimately, I was charged those fees as "miscellaneous legal fees." In the end, I was coerced into taking a deal which left me essentially in financial ruin due to his carelessness and neglect in explaining the fine legal details of the settlement - a settlement that he claimed was the best possible outcome. I've since had other lawyers look over my case and, quite literally, been laughed at because of how terrible a job Josh did. I never once felt like I was actually heard, was constantly interrupted on the phone, and never felt like he truly cared about my case. Would never, ever recommend, even to an ex-spouse.

I chose Joshua because he said he was familiar with my wife's lawyer and he did put forth an honest tone about how things can go regarding these cases. However, when it came to paperwork spelling errors were constant. In the interim hearing we could have brought forth evidence my wife was lying, but ...Joshua said save it for the trial. This happenned numerous times so it frusterated me. His office gave me 5 days to complete the discovery process, when I should have seen the papers 25 days prior. In court I saw him doodle the same drawing twice, and the second occassion was while the judge was speaking which you could tell angered her. I asked specific questions regarding the law pertaining to our case and he did not know, and never got back to me on. The last hearing I had he brought forth a material change before the court when there was none. All in all this was not a good experience and I had to let him go as my counselor. I think I would have received the same result if I had represented myself.
