"I know Gary from having spent a week with him in 2011 at the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College in 2011. I was impressed with Gary's quick mind and familiarity with issues that affect personal injury cases. Since 2011, I have often read articles and postings written by Gary. His ability to take complex issues and make them simple is well above the average lawyer. And, just as important is his heart for people. Gary is a unique mixture of an intellectual with a practical side that is fueled by his caring and compassionate heart. Although I do not get many people asking me for a referral in Northern Minnesota, when I do get one, the first trial lawyer that comes to mind is Gary Hazelton! I highly recommend Gary to anyone who has been, or has a friend or loved one, who has been injured in an accident."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
