I have hired Attorney Cline for a divorce and custody matter. He was very professional and his staff was amazing. I learned that the process is long and it takes time to get court dates. Attorney Cline was knowledgeable and excellent in the court room. The court paperwork that he prepared was always ...perfect. He dug into the facts and used the law to back up the facts in my case. If I wasn't able to speak directly with him, I spoke to his assistant. I would recommend him to anyone. Custody is a very emotional subject and when I had questions, he answered them and gave me immediate peace of mind knowing that I was in the care of someone who cared and who would fight for me. If you need an attorney, hire JJ Cline, you won't regret it.

I secured Mr. Cline's representation on a divorce and custody matter through legal assistance. While professional and convincing in the initial meeting, I was not impressed throughout the process with his response time or quality. When going through such an emotional and scary ordeal, a parent deserv...es an attorney that is sensitive to their fear regarding their children. When getting into Family Law, dealing with this is a high probability. Mr. Cline lacked such sensitivity and I was treated as just one of many cases he was dealing with. I believe he went through 3 different legal assistants in the months that I worked with him. Each time I called asking for someone specific or sent an email, I was told that the intended recipient was no longer with the office. He was late to our initial hearing and works less than a few blocks away. He put more energy into talking deer hunting with the bailiff than discussing my case that day. Maybe it was because I was a legal assistance case that it did not matter to him, but his low level of interest was made obvious. During the heat of my custody case, he chose to discontinue representation because I was too demanding. As I stated before, he lacked any sensitivity or quality responses when I had questions and would take sometimes weeks to return a phone call. When I shared my frustration with this, I was told that I was one of MANY cases that Mr. Cline had on his plate and he would respond when he could - meaning weeks generally. A good lawyer should at least attempt to make your case feel important to him. I was not impressed and do not recommend his services.
