Ryan Douglas Fullerton

Ryan has been an attorney with Pemberton Law Firm since joining in 2016, and practices primarily in the areas of commercial law, litigation, and personal injury. 

Ryan grew up in Austin, Minnesota. Ryan then attended Winona State University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science. Ryan then attended the University of Minnesota Law School, where he served as a staff member and later a managing editor of Law and Inequality: A Journal of Theory and Practice. Ryan was placed on the Dean’s List on numerous occasions and received the Book Award for achieving the highest grade in one of his property law classes.

During law school, Ryan volunteered with the public defenders’ office in Stillwater, Minnesota, where he represented indigent clients during bail hearings. Ryan then joined the Child Advocacy and Juvenile Justice Clinic at the University of Minnesota Law School, where he represented low-income clients and juveniles in important matters ranging from adoption proceedings to custody disputes. Upon his graduation, he was recognized by the Minnesota  Justice Foundation for having volunteered for more than fifty hours during law school.

Prior to joining Pemberton Law Firm as an associate attorney in 2016, Ryan worked for the firm as summer associate. Ryan and his wife Yunjeong reside in Fergus Falls. Ryan is thrilled to live in a small town again, and he hopes to become active in the community. Ryan enjoys what small town life has to offer, and looks forward to developing his professional career and working with the highly skilled attorneys at Pemberton Law Firm.
