in 2011 I was injured @ work and I knew I was going to need legal help. I had been injured @ a previous employer a few years before this injury so right away my present employer was pointing the finger @ my previous work related injury. it was obvious to me and my family and close friends that my new... injury was disabling but my present employer was insisting that my problems were from my previous work related injury. with my previous employer and work related injury I was told by my employer who to have for a lawyer and I was taken advantage of. I thought that being loyal to my employer would be of help to me but I found myself out of a job and with very little compensation and feeling like a criminal for trying to get help. with this work related injury I wanted to make sure that I wouldn't be taken advantage of again. I had talked to other lawyers and not felt comfortable but talking to chris was different as I felt I could trust him and thought that he was very knowledgeable and trustworthy and on my side. I knew I had a real mess and my future depended upon who I chose to represent me.my case took years to complete and was very complicated due to previous work related injury .it took 3 surgerys and many other procedures before I was disabled in 2014 but even then there were problems with social security and the amount I was receiving monthly. chris had to appeal social securitys decision and with his team and he did get my benefits corrected. i feel that chris did a great job for me with my work related injury. he took the time to explain how this process works and i am not easy to explain things to. he kept me informed and suggested a great QRC who helped me through the work comp surgerys doctor appointments and job search. thanks to Mr. Carpenter and his team my life is going forward after my work related injury.
