24+ years and a divorce - what now?

2 years ago I had the worst Christmas ever. I was despondent knowing that my marriage of 24+ years with 7 children had fallen into a state of shipwreck. Open communication in my marriage was over and people were picking sides. I wanted to stay married and work it out but that was not to be. I had... known Rod for 9 years. He saw me after Christmas 2 years ago and noticed I didn't seem myself. I explained and Rod said "come to my office next week and let's just talk-no charge". After hiring him as my divorce attorney then here came the barrage of false accusations from the other side and Rod said "just stick with the facts and it will all work out-try to leave the emotions out of it". The worst part was not knowing the outcome of the court appearance and Rod kept telling me I had done everything I could and he would defend me. 24 years of marriage and a lot of issues. Rod was strong and fought for me and my 3 kids that chose to stay with me. I couldn't have done this without Rod's counsel and courtroom professionalism. He performed last minute negotiations at the courthouse with the opposing attorney and divorce Judge on my behalf and I kept my house! You need an attorney that actually cares. Thanks Rod!
